Declaration
I started DD&K over five years ago as a blog for all the weird and wonderful kinky things I like, and over the years I’ve done news, reviews and interviews, posted hundreds of pictures, made loads of friends, (and one or two enemies…) and branched into both Facebook and Twitter…
With all that, I felt I should state my position, set out my stall and wiggle my ass. Or something…
I want DD&K to become an outlet for kinky, new and exciting photographers, designers, writers and models. I will happily post your pictures, forward your links, like your pages, follow your tweets, and do anything you want me to do. As long as it’s legal. And kinky.
I look upon DD&K as an advertising/information forum as much as a place to thrill and entertain. By this I mean that I will only post pictures or videos as long as I can post links to the websites of the models, designers or photographers concerned. I want to be able to send my visitors on to the source of all this kinky goodness. With this in mind, I will only reblog first-generation items on Tumblr, that is ones posted by the creators themselves. Anything else I will merely like (and you can see what I like here…) I also try to get permission for all content that I post. If I have posted your work without permission, please contact me and I will remove it (or ask for your consent!) I also take the view that Tumblr is a sharing forum, which actively encourages people to reblog content. I assume that if you put an image on Tumblr, then you expect it to be shared. Again, please contact me if this is not the case.
I am very willing and happy to review anyone’s website or their products, but I will be honest in my review. I take into account price and content, accessibility and design. I take the view that money is tight these days, and I wouldn’t want to recommend a site where you pay $30 a month for a site that is hardly ever updated! I’m probably going to change the format soon, so if you want to get involved before it’s too late, get in touch. I want this site to be your site, and I want you to get involved as much as possible. As well as this blog I have a Facebook page and a Twitter feed and I welcome all new followers. Come and say hi! Also, if you want your dose of DD&K delivered to your inbox, then sign up to my email list. I won’t spam you, or sell/give away your email address!
If you want to submit some of your work to me, feel free! I’d love to see your photographs, your artwork, your stories - including your First Time stories… Just go to my submissions page and send me something. It helps if you use the drop-down menu to select the correct type of post.
