Who are you? Wil Boucher
What do you do? I’m a Montreal based photographer who finds himself continually drawn further and further into all things fetish and sensual.
How did you get to where you are today? Practice practice practice.
Who is your hero? As far as photography goes, it has to be Helmut Newton. The best.
What colour is happiness? If I had to pick a colour for happiness it would be “Rapture Red”. I painted my office that colour once.
What is your ambition? To pursue fetish photography full time.
What country would you like to visit? Too many to list here : -) but I think Monaco is up near the top.
What are you having for dinner? Steak and eggs. With HP sauce.
What’s your favourite song? It changes all the time. Right now it may be “I Want You Now” - Depeche Mode. The background on that track is so horny. The breathing. There’s only one place where you hear breathing like that.
Who inspires you? Everyone and everything. Inspiration is everywhere if you’re open to it.
Do you slepp on the left, right or middle of the bed? I start out sleeping on the left but usually end up diagonal-ing across from top left to bottom right. Naked of course.
What posters did you have on our wall as a teenager? Embarrassingly enough – Loni Anderson.
Who should be banished from the planet? Hmmmmmmm.
What was the last thing you bought? The last thing I bought was a photo magazine.
Where are the answers? Deep, deep, inside. If you go some place really quiet and calm, you can hear them. Sometimes you can even hear them before you get to the question.
How much money is in your wallet right now? $60 Canadian.
Which film do you quote from the most? I’d like to say it’s Scarface with “Let me introduce you to my little friend” but it’s more real to say Blazing Saddles - “Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges!” with badges being replaced with whatever we don’t have at the moment. Permits, batteries, strobes :-)
What are you really good at doing? Capturing erotic sensuality without having to resort to explicit depiction.
How can we make the world a better place? To each his own. Do whatever you want as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else (unless that’s what they want :-)
