Review: “Bianca Beauchamp - All Access 2: Rubberized”

You see, this is the way it’s supposed to work. People (in this case the lovely Bianca Beauchamp and her equally lovely cohort, Martin Perreault) send me stuff free, and I review it. They get the exposure and the recognition, and I get free stuff. Perfect.

So, here we have Bianca Beauchamp’s new DVD Bianca Beauchamp - All Access 2: Rubberized, filmed reality TV style over a three day weekend at Montreal’s Fetish Weekend. Along with Bianca, we also get some of her friends, like Jean Bardot and RubberDoll and her best friend and hair stylist, THE Richard. (Possibly like THE Colin Baker, but that’s another world…)

Needless to say, this film is chock full of lovely latexy goodness, with lots of beautiful people in slinky sexy clothing - catsuits, dresses, corsets, heels, boots, masks, uniforms - you name it, it’s in here. As a lover of pink latex, I did appreciate the opening evening show at Club Sin, featuring Jean Bardot, Lady Lethe and others in all manner of pink clothes. There are also lots of girls kissing each other, which is only right and proper.

Some of the background music can be a little bit too loud and intrusive at times, but you can eventually tune it out of your brain if you concentrate on what people are saying, such as the interview with Steffy the Rubber Doll, a cross-dressing latex, um, doll, who frankly looks magnificent, and does a performance with RubberDoll and Jean Bardot at the Latextacy party.

It’s nice to see the behind-the-scenes stuff, like Bianca being pissed off at having to MC the Latextacy event (when she’d rather be partying) and also to see the girls without their make-up, and indulging in their “cotton fetish”, as well as seeing Jean Bardot wasp-hunting to protect RubberDoll! (Oh, and hearing Jean’s incredibly dirty laugh!)

This DVD gives you a real feel of what it’s like to attend a massive fetish party weekend, although it amazes me no-one passes out in that heat and with all that latex on! It’s not only sexy and fun, it also shows you that fetish people are just normal people, not perverts or weirdos, who just love to express themselves differently, and wear fantastic, fantasy clothing to express themselves in.

I’ve never been to a fetish party (I’m one of those people who just likes to watch…) but this DVD has really made me want to get up and get out in my rubber catsuit! It just looks like it’s such good fun, and most of all, I’m struck by just how friendly and nice Bianca and Martin and all the girls are. My only worry is that the message of this film will only be heard by those who already get it… Can’t see this being braodcast on mainstream TV at 8pm somehow… Still, if only one person gets converted, then so much the better!

And remember, “little potatoes… little potatoes…” (No, I don’t know either!)
