Review: JadeVixen.com

JadeVixen.com is the official site for Jade Vixen, the New York based Asian fetish model featured by us quite a few times over the past few months.  JadeVixen.com is a paysite, updated twice weekly with either a new photo session or a video.  The site has only been up and running for a few months, but already features lots of content - about 88 photo sessions or videos at the time of writing.  

Photo sessions come in one hit, spread over a number of pages and running at an average of seventy pictures per session.  Sometimes you only get six photos in a session, sometime over one hundred. [The smaller 6 or 10 image updates are bonuses from Jade’s external shoots and are posted as a third update for the week, not as one of the twice weekly updates]   In one set for photographer Bob Coulter, you get 179 images!  Each set and image can be viewed separately in the site, or you can download them all in one go as a zip file.  Unfortunately, on some of the older galleries the link to do this is broken, such as the first half of a set from photographer Martin Perrault, whereas the second half of the set is fine. 

Needless to say, each photo session features Jade looking fantastic in either latex, or lingerie, in a studio or on location.  Some sets feature Jade with other models, such as Mosh, Darenzia and Idelsy.  

One small niggle is the fact that every photo has a watermark in the corner.  Although this is small, I would prefer that images I pay for would be free from such branding.  However, you can leave comments on each set, and even save a selection of your favourites to return to later which are nice features to use.

There are only a few videos on the site at the moment, the longest being just over seven minutes long.  They vary in quality, from amateurish grainy, aspect-squashed ones to sharp, high-quality clips.  None are in HD.  My favourite has to be Dom, a three and a half minute POV clip of Jade admonishing her slave (you) while wearing only a very tight latex corset, black latex stockings and seven inch heels…  Each video is downloadable in a number of formats, Quicktime, MPG, MP4 (for iPod/iPhone - ooh, portable Jade!) or WMV, but this varies from video to video.  This is a nice touch as some sites only offer you one format, and then you have to spend time converting videos to suit you and your devices.

JadeVixen.com has a lot to offer, mostly in the shape of Jade herself. The zip downloads are a really good idea (when they work) and the choice of video download format is very useful.  At the time of writing the site costs £24.13 for 30 days access (one time charge), £24.13 for 30 days, then £17.22 billed every 1 month (ongoing) or £34.48 for 60 days, then £15.15 billed every 1 month (ongoing, and obviously the best value for money).  (These figures will obviously change depending on the exchange rate).

The site offers a lot of content for the money.  More video would be a good thing, and the broken links need to be fixed, but for an up and coming site, featuring one of the sexiest fetish models around at the moment, JadeVixen.com gets the Deep Down & Kinky seal of approval.
