Focussing on the various aspects of latex fetishism, from as buying and wearing latex through to coming out and finding a partner to share your kink, Rubber Life is an informative and fascinating guide to the rubber world. 3xL writes from experience, having left his previous wife to pursue his burning need for a latex life, love and the pursuit of happiness.
Written primarily for latex newbies, or at least those that have dipped their toes in the warm sea, Rubber Life also contains lots of information for those that have been around for a while. There are sections on buying and caring for your latex clothes, highlighting the different thicknesses and styles available, and giving recommendations for building a wardrobe.
Perhaps the most useful and informative sections concern coming out with your latex fetish, how to break it to your friends and family, and, developing on from that, how to find a latex partner (possibly useful if the “Coming Out” section didn’t go as well as planned!) This contains a useful guide to getting out to meet like-minded people, at parties or munches, and also good advice on keeping yourself safe at such events. I also liked the advice for promoting yourself on forums and websites, especially “no penis shots”!
Lavishly illustrated with kinky cartoons and full-page photos from the likes of Alexander Horn and the author himself, this is a glossy, attractive book, or at least it would be if it it existed in paper format. Rubber Life is published as an e-book, delivered in PDF format. This may work well on an iPad or similar mobile device, but I find it difficult and awkward to view on a computer screen, especially as the text is formatted into two columns. I would love to see a physical version of the book one day.
I was also slightly disappointed with the length of the book, as it only runs to 94 pages, a good percentage of which are taken up with pictures. I would have liked to have seen more for my money, perhaps interviews with people in the fetish scene, telling us how they got into latex, how and when they came out and how they deal with living the latex lifestyle. As this is a guide book, it would have been interesting to hear how different people see the view, to hear their successes and also their disasters. It would also be interesting to compare coming out experiences between men and women, as I would think it is easier for a woman to start wearing latex in public than men, especially in clubs and bars.
Rubber Life is a good introduction to the world of latex fetishism, but I would like to see more varied and in-depth coverage of this latex world.

According to her Twitter biography, Fetish Liza is an “adult/fetish/Penthouse model, producer, Mistress, lover of kink, fetish fashion addict, collector of human pets, amateur DJ, traveler”. Liza is tall and slim with dark hair and a petite frame, who loves red lipstick and dark eyes, which immediately appeals to the goth-lover in me…. And Liza’s not just a model, she actually takes part in her scenes, whether that means we see her rubbing herself to a frenzy, sucking a lucky slave’s cock, or enjoying a double dildo with a girlfriend. This extra hardcore dimension gives FetishLiza.com an extra edge which is quite welcome.
The site is updated every three days, with either a photoset or a video. At the time of writing, there are about 6,000 photos and around 60 videos available to download, around 6GB of content. You also get a set of extra pictures from Liza’s earlier modelling days, which are a pleasant extra.
The photosets are generally a whole set, whereas the videos are usually split into two or more parts. Photos can be viewed eiter in a slideshow or downloaded Both the photos and videos are of a high standard; at 1280x855, photos are large enough, but not massive, and come with quite discreet branding. Videos are 720x400, again, large enough but not HD (although they are claimed to be), and look fine when you watch them full screen. Sound seems to be recorded on the camera, so if the action is happening far away then it’s quite quiet and echoey (especially in the Pool Inspector video). Thankfully the soundtrack isn’t replaced by cheesy dance music, but maybe a little background music might be nice. Without music, you get to enjoy all the sounds of Liza’s kinky outfits and her wonderful gorgeous Belgian accent. (Not Russian… No no…)
I have a couple of small issues with the videos. First you have to right-click on the file and save it to your disk. Just clicking it doesn’t take you anywhere, but once you know this there’s no problem (and there’s a handy FAQ available too). The second issue I have is that the videos are delivered in RealPlayer format (.rmvb), which is fine if you’re watching on your laptop or PC, but you can’t transfer the files easily to your iPod, iPad or similar portable player, without some arcane voodoo file conversion.
FetishLiza.com’s USP seems to be her love of smoking, so if you’re the kind of person who gets turned on by watching a hot woman smoking cigarettes or big cigars, and then using some poor slave’s mouth as an ashtray, then you’ll love what Liza has to offer you. Smoking personally doesn’t do it for me, but I can see how it might turn others on. There are a number of videos and photo sets related to watching Liza smoke, which you don’t get many other places.
FetishLiza.com also offers a custom service to its members. Starting at 100€, customers can request a video or photo shoot to their own specification, which will then be exclusively for them. Prices will vary according to length of video, number of pictures, whether or not it’s a solo shoot. So there you have it. FetishLiza.com is a well presented website and has plenty of good content to offer. Prices start at 19.99€ (approximately £16.74, $24.67 at time of writing) per month, through Verotel. You can also join by mail or bank transfer if you’re credit-cardly challenged.
I like FetishLiza.com, I like the breadth and range of the kinks on offer, and Liza is an attractive and sexy woman who isn’t afraid to get deep down and kinky (ahem)…

Review: JadeVixen.com
JadeVixen.com is the official site for Jade Vixen, the New York based Asian fetish model featured by us quite a few times over the past few months. JadeVixen.com is a paysite, updated twice weekly with either a new photo session or a video. The site has only been up and running for a few months, but already features lots of content - about 88 photo sessions or videos at the time of writing.
Photo sessions come in one hit, spread over a number of pages and running at an average of seventy pictures per session. Sometimes you only get six photos in a session, sometime over one hundred. [The smaller 6 or 10 image updates are bonuses from Jade’s external shoots and are posted as a third update for the week, not as one of the twice weekly updates] In one set for photographer Bob Coulter, you get 179 images! Each set and image can be viewed separately in the site, or you can download them all in one go as a zip file. Unfortunately, on some of the older galleries the link to do this is broken, such as the first half of a set from photographer Martin Perrault, whereas the second half of the set is fine.
Needless to say, each photo session features Jade looking fantastic in either latex, or lingerie, in a studio or on location. Some sets feature Jade with other models, such as Mosh, Darenzia and Idelsy.
One small niggle is the fact that every photo has a watermark in the corner. Although this is small, I would prefer that images I pay for would be free from such branding. However, you can leave comments on each set, and even save a selection of your favourites to return to later which are nice features to use.
There are only a few videos on the site at the moment, the longest being just over seven minutes long. They vary in quality, from amateurish grainy, aspect-squashed ones to sharp, high-quality clips. None are in HD. My favourite has to be Dom, a three and a half minute POV clip of Jade admonishing her slave (you) while wearing only a very tight latex corset, black latex stockings and seven inch heels… Each video is downloadable in a number of formats, Quicktime, MPG, MP4 (for iPod/iPhone - ooh, portable Jade!) or WMV, but this varies from video to video. This is a nice touch as some sites only offer you one format, and then you have to spend time converting videos to suit you and your devices.
JadeVixen.com has a lot to offer, mostly in the shape of Jade herself. The zip downloads are a really good idea (when they work) and the choice of video download format is very useful. At the time of writing the site costs £24.13 for 30 days access (one time charge), £24.13 for 30 days, then £17.22 billed every 1 month (ongoing) or £34.48 for 60 days, then £15.15 billed every 1 month (ongoing, and obviously the best value for money). (These figures will obviously change depending on the exchange rate).
The site offers a lot of content for the money. More video would be a good thing, and the broken links need to be fixed, but for an up and coming site, featuring one of the sexiest fetish models around at the moment, JadeVixen.com gets the Deep Down & Kinky seal of approval.
I give JadeVixen.com a DD&K rating of 7 out of 10 (rising to 8 if the links get fixed…)
